Here goes another week in the summer ,
i guess during the summer .. weeks go by really fast,
two more weeks then i am done with summer school,
then i'll have to adjust myself back into the 8-5
monday to friday work mode for 2 months ...
don't get me wrong i love working,
i love my job and i love hanging out at my job ,
but obviously it's different from going to school,
granted i don't have to worry about homeworks or exams,
but i do have to worry about computers .. lol ..

talking about adjusting to a full time employee life,
my friend Nick .. shared some insights about that during
my homegroup guys time .. he shared about .. the responsibilities
of a student , ie. school, work .. etc .. comparing to the responsibilities of
a MAN .. ie. family , work , social .. etc .. and how demanding it will be ..
and he pointed out a really good point about spiritual life,
if we (as students / young man w/ lotta free times) cannot discipline ourselves
to seek the LORD .. it will be harder for the days when we get older .. and have a family ..

i totally agree with him ..
so y'all .. start buildin' this relationship with God thru Christ ..
He's always there pursuing us .. it's just the matter of fact whether we are responding
to HIM or not ,
we can choose to run and drown ourselves in this world ,
or we can immerse ourselves in the truth found in the creator of this world.

My good friends Kert and Kerry's wedding was awesome,
it was a very neat wedding,
very simple but full of meaningful stuff ,
the sermon was great , reception was fun and family friendly,
i had fun .. i was glad to meet with old friends and making new friends
alike, i also had fun suitin' up in a tuxedo for the wedding ( i looked cute according to cori .. :-P and i looked like a stud .. according to the guys .. esp. ben ) ..

here are some of my thoughts after the wedding,

and as i look at my life i wonder when i'll have my wedding
... LOL .. j/k ...

i love the meaning of marriage ..
and how it paralleled Christ marriage to the church.

2 1/2 weeks into summer school,
i am already behind keeping up with my math class's materials,
seriously,
math 311 (linear algebra / multi-variable calculus) is NOT
fun especially when the prof wants the students to
make the connection between Algebra and Geometry,
well .. i m not a BIG fan of Geometry since grade schools,
that makes this class harder ( ya know vector spaces / sub-space / domain / range .. stuff like that)
anyways ..
2 midterms comin' up , one in Statistics and one in Math .... actually both in math .. LOL

i am very disappointed !
anyways .. pistons should've fouled any player (esp. Shaq)
when there's 4 seconds left in the game, instead of that,
they let Kobe had a 3 pointer ... ahh ....

NBA finals ~ Piston leads Lakers 1-0 ... interesting huh .. the other team that Coach Brown used to coach (76ers) .. had the same exactly AMAZING start against the Lakers a few years ago .. but they ended up losing 1-4 .. so .. it's still gonna be an interesting series .

journey to manhood

3 weeks ago i burned the back of my hand ,
a week ago i learned how to fix my car
a week ago i sprained my ankle ... ,
the day before yesterday i learned that everything doesn't have to go my way,
yesterday i learned that someone somewhere somehow (incl. myself) will forget something important,
today i learned sometimes i am really annoying to other people too ...,
ahh .. what a journey to manhood .. ,

so what will i learn tomorrow ,
and what will i learn the DAY after tomorrow ..

Hard to live in the world like this,

even in one that they know it might not really work out ?

i don't know, i mean i found myself in the similar situation too,
don't wanna move on , and hoping there's another chance,
maybe sometimes we do need patience,
maybe sometimes .. we do need a break from all of it ..
and let guys be guys .. and stop worrying about all these
stuff about girls.
i guess we all demanded truth, wanted truth , yet when it's
time to make the decision we rather hide behind our own imagination,
or our own expectation of what gonna happen next ..
it's always great to have a "REALITY CHECK" from someone,
truth and honesty hurts, and yeah i can testify to that,
but that's only one part of life ,
there are many other parts that we can be thankful of,
thank GOD there's a band called Switchfoot

my prediction for NBA is off,
since t-wolves lost to LA today by 6 points,
my new prediction would be
LA vs Detroit for NBA finals,
i say LA should win in 6 or 7 games,
i think Detroit will not go out without a TOUGH fight,
and i m a big fan of Larry Brown too ,

well Euro 2004 is comin' up,
